Are you a manual or power-assisted wheelchair user? Want to connect with others, share your experiences, and help shape a more inclusive future for active travel?

Join The Active Way this July for our Wheelchair User Forum—a 90-minute online session designed by and for wheelchair users. This is your space to:

🤝 Meet and connect with fellow wheelchair users
📖 Share your stories and lived experiences
🚶‍♀️ Explore how wheeling, walking, and cycling can be made more inclusive for everyday journeys and wellbeing

The session will be facilitated by two wheelchair-using experts:
🎙️ Stuart Wheeler from Freedom Wheelchair Skills, who will lead the event, and

🛠️ Holly Pulham from the Wheelchair and Special Seating Service will provide expert input throughout.

As part of the forum, we’ll explore how The Active Way can better support the wheeling community. Discussion topics will include:

💬 What are the main challenges to staying healthy, physically and mentally?
💬 What other support could we offer the wheeling community?
